CONNECTIONS

Data Line Connections

Data line connections to the AD1273 are made with user-

supplied, 2-wire twisted pair, shielded, Belden 8760 or

equivalent (Plenum 88760). The maximum data line length is

5000 feet (1524m).

Data lines enter the AD1273 through a 7-pin Plug and Ramp

connector unit (see Figure 8). The 7-pin Ramp connector is

attached to the AD1273 printed circuit board. The 7-pin Plug

mating connector is shipped with the AD1273 unit.

Assemble the 7-pin Plug connector by inserting the appropriate

data lines into the corresponding pin slots listed in Table 4 and

tightening the hold-down screws. Table 4 - Data Line Connections to 7-Pin Plug Connector

• Pin 1 - Data line SHIELD (S)

• Pin 6 - Data line WHITE (W) wire

• Pin 7 - Data line BLACK (B) wire
